The Australian Open at Melbourne Park is the first tennis grand slam of the season and will run from January 20 to February 2. For the first time since 2006, 23-time grand slam winner Serena Williams failed to make the third round of the tournament. In men’s singles, Novak Dojokovic faced Dominic Thiem in the final.
