Rafael Nadal reaches the 14th semi-final of the French Open

Rafael Nadal reached a record 14th Roland Garros semi-final on Wednesday with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 victory over Diego Schwartzman, setting up a potential showdown with world number one Novak . Djokovic.
Nadal, chasing a 14th Roland Garros title and a record 21st major triumph, lost his first set in the tournament since 2019 – ending a streak of 36 consecutive sets won in Paris by third head of Spanish series.
Nadal, 35, extended his incredible Roland Garros record to 105 wins and two losses as he qualified for his 35th Grand Slam semi-final. He beat Schwartzman, 10th seed from Argentina, in the last four of the 2020 edition.
