Anthony Joshua is in high spirits ahead of his heavyweight clash with Alexander Povetkin tonight at Wembley Stadium where he will defend his WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO belts.
The boxing champion had the rare opportunity to meet someone as strong as himself when he met Wycombe Wanderers forward Adebayo Akinfenwa.
The striker has rightfully earned the nickname after being named the strongest player in FIFA 19, a title he has held in recent years. Joshua presented him with the trophy.

Joshua then joked, comparing the biceps with the forward before hesitantly admitting that Akinfenwa was probably a little stronger.
The boxer already has a copy of FIFA 19 and says he’s excited to finally have time to play. While he likes the game to get more realistic every year, the new feature that has really got Joshua excited are the Kick Off party modes.
As a typical fighter it is no surprise that Joshua is the most excited for the ‘survival’ and ‘no rules’ types of games, he can make nasty mistakes without the referee blowing the latter’s whistle. .

No rule is probably a fad where Akinfenwa would shine as well. With 97 strength points, he is the undisputed strongest player in the game with just three players behind him with 95 strength points.
However, the big man still might not be too happy when he realizes that his strength has actually decreased by one from last year. We would hate to be EA’s rep to break the news to him, which is probably why they sent Joshua.
Akinfenwa was at the FIFA 19 Global Launch Party where he was able to pose with today’s strongest man in the world, Hafpor Julius Bjornsson.
EA was even kind enough to give the Icelandic man his own Ultimate Team card with a solid 87 rating in the center back. They gave him a full physicality of 99 compared to Akinfenwa’s 83, although the Wycombe player likely won’t have any complaints about that.

Both will have been happy with the FUT cards, Bjornsson rightly received 99 physicality
In addition to his trophy, Akinfenwa also got a first glimpse of his Ultimate Team card at the launch party. The big man will have been delighted to see that for the first time he has a money card on FUT.
His pace of 44 isn’t brilliant, but with 64 shots and 83 physics, he’ll definitely be capable of dealing damage.
