Every now and then EA Sports’ FIFA games pose a memorable issue that quickly becomes the topic of social media, and this year’s version is no different.
Somewhat oddly, soon to be released FIFA 19 shows Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech renegotiating a new contract in his helmet – much to social media’s amusement.
Cech, of course, wears the helmet for games following a nasty collision with Reading’s Stephen Hunt in 2006, but doesn’t need them for the rest of his day to day life.

However, enter contract negotiations with the player in Career mode and he can still be seen wearing the helmet.
The funny glitch was quickly detected by an eagle-eyed user, who saw their tweet go viral within minutes.
But the goalkeeper entered the debate himself, suggesting that a truly accurate portrayal of him in a negotiating room would have included him in a tie.
“It’s not guys … I’d wear a tie,” Cech wrote on Twitter.
But with hundreds of hilarious social media responses, the Czech hitchhiker found himself covered in jokes and memes.
One response showed a close-up of Cech in his helmet on the game with the caption: “ When you know you have a hard night drinking in front of you with your buddies at the bar. ”

“I would be more confident if I turned it off,” Cech said in 2015. “Whether you like it or not, the headset affects your surroundings.
“Your ears are covered and it makes hearing worse. But the doctor forbade me to take off the helmet. If I did, I wouldn’t pay for insurance.
