Cesaro pushes for WWE Universal Championship rematch with Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns wants to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Edge at Money in the bank later this month and has a heavily rumored title match with John Cena that was reportedly scheduled for Slam summer. But if and when “The Tribal Chief” gets past these two legends, it looks like Cesaro wants another shot at Reigns’ title. “The Swiss Cyborg” pushed Reigns to his absolute limits in an excellent match with Reigns at WrestleMania Aftermath in May and pushed for a rematch during an interview with GiveMeSport this week.
“I pushed Roman to the limit and I don’t think he liked it, so let’s do it again,” Cesaro said. “For me, what comes down to the end of the day is what happens after the bell rings. Even when I have wrestled Roman Reigns in the past, I was able to bring him to the borderline, and maybe somewhere he doesn’t like to be because he’s not usually there. He’s usually not pushed like that, I like to think, and that’s exactly what happened when the bell rang. No matter what his attitude, it changes. He does what he does, he does what he thinks he should do. My attitude has changed since when I got there. struggled before until now. I feel like we’ve all matured, we’ve all changed, we’ve all grown, we’ve all progressed. But at the end of the day, it’s about What happens when that bell rings. To me, that’s what’s important. Like you said [he had] a great year, but me too, so let’s see what happens. “
Cesaro was popped by Seth Rollins moments after his loss to Reigns. The former Universal Champion then defeated Cesaro at Hell in a cell, then picked up another tag team victory on a recent episode of SmackDown.
