Baseball is a game steeped in tradition, so any break with what fans expect is often met with resistance.
In the 91st Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Coors Field in Denver, the traditional appearance of the home team players in the white uniforms of their individual teams and the visiting team members in their road grays was upset.
MLB introduced a new design this year that incorporated MLB team logos and a three-letter abbreviation of their hometown overlaid on top of each other on the left side of the uniform.
