Real Madrid enter Fabio Carvalho’s race

Real Madrid are reportedly watching Fulham striker Fabio Carvalho, 19, who is also attracting interest from the Premier League giants.

Real Madrid are the latest big club to take an interest in Fabio Carvalho, according to a Daily Mail report. The 19-year-old Fulham’s offensive sensation is also the subject of several big Premier League clubs as the Cottagers risk losing their precious prodigy.

Fabio Carvalho joined Fulham Academy from Balham in 2014 and has since made giant strides in London attire. The teenage prodigy made his first-team debut at the start of the 2020/21 season before being offered a few more opportunities here and there. At the start of the current season, however, the player has become a regular with the Cottagers.

In fact, Carvalho has made a strong start to the 2021/22 campaign, scoring three times while providing an assist in just five league appearances. His progress since making his debut at Fulham has not gone unnoticed, with Real Madrid joining a host of Premier League giants in pursuit of the 19-year-old.

A versatile striker, Carvalho can play on the flanks or in an attacking midfielder, which is why Real Madrid could be interested in him. While Los Blancos‘The main target remains Kylian Mbappe, it is important to note that Marco Asensio was linked with a potential summer outing and is currently in a precarious situation at the club.

Additionally, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale appear to be in for a decisive campaign, so there is a feeling that a move for another attacking player besides Mbappe could be a step in the right direction. So it’s not hard to see why Real Madrid are closely following the 19-year-old’s progress.

However, the Merengues aren’t the only club interested in Carvalho. Besides Real Madrid, there are a number of ‘top ten’ Premier League clubs keeping an eye out for the teenage prodigy, who may have a base, given Chelsea were recently linked with him.

Even Leeds United and West Ham United have shown interest in the 19-year-old, who is already traveling there. For now, Carvalho is going stronger and stronger at Fulham and it remains to be seen if Real Madrid will choose to launch the offense for him anytime soon.
