According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former WWE Universal Champion Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) is currently in talks with IMPACT following his exit from WWE in June.
Reports say Scherr has yet to officially sign a deal, but the promotion is expected to come close to his Bound For Glory pay per view from Las Vegas. It’s also noteworthy that there were a few recently cut WWE stars who could debut on this show as it would have gone way beyond the 90-day non-compete clause that many had.
Scherr hinted that he joined IMPACT last month saying he was ready to make an impact on his social media accounts, even using the hashtag #Titan, which some may assume is a new nickname that he will use later. Another tease came from top IMPACT executive Scott D’Amore, who used the term “Braun For Glory” during the October pay-per-view boom.
