Liverpool are back in the rumor mill this week, with two names linked that have been linked before: one a multi-year saga and the other a more recent claim.
One from Italy, one from Spain
New first? Good then: Franck Kessie again.
The AC Milan midfielder is out of contract next summer and the Reds are increasingly linked to him in the European press. Mundo Deportivo said we were very excited recently and now Gazzetta dello Sport say we have a free race if we give them the £ 160,000 a week they want because Milan won’t.
Another free transfer target is a much longer link: Ousmane Dembele.
He’s injured again at Barcelona and the club apparently won’t play him if they don’t sign a new deal – and although Klopp is an admirer, Mundo Deportivo says Michael Edwards is already putting together a financial plan to sign the French international then horn.
Hold your horses though, as this rumor goes back to English media reports (not great either) which in turn quote their Spanish counterparts… and so on. Don’t hold your breath.
